Inauguration du Mémorial à la Famille Guthmann à Berlin, le 27 août 2018

In 2008, a Guthmann Platz was inaugurated close to this cemetery (created under the DDR) that used to be the house and garden where the seven members of this family lived until 27.2.1943, day of their deportation to Auschwitz from their obligatory working place (Fabriekaktion). In 2013, seven 'Stollpersteine' were organized by students as a citizenship project. In 2018, this memorial in the cemetery explains the history of the Guthmann family of which Leopold (our late father) was the only to survive.
